Lake Skadar and Rijeka Crnojevica

See a world where time stopped long ago. Discover fishing villages with their authentic architecture, hidden beaches and coves surrounded by opulent vegetation. Lake Skadar is one of the biggest bird reserves in Europe with around 270 species, including some of the last pelicans found in Europe. It is one of the last freshwater marshes in the Mediterranean and the largest freshwater lake in the Balkan region.

On this amazing tour you will glide across the calm waters and watch the native wildlife without scaring it away. Along the river there are several outstanding local restaurants with specialities including wild fresh water carp, eel and bleak, and excellent local red crmnicko wine and loza brandy.

• Starting point: Dodosi or Rijeka Crnojevica.
• Starting time: For the best experience we suggest 09:00 am or earlier.
• Duration: Whole day ( 8 hours ).
• Activity level and distance is entierly up to you. We can meet your exact needs.
• Equipment included is paddle board, paddle, lifejacket, dry bag and leash.
• What you need to bring is: Swim wear (for paddling), Clothes + flip-flops, Small towel, UV protection (hat, shirt, sunscreen, lip balm),Money, Water bottle.
